These kinds of administrative failures are far too common and a leading cause of bankruptcy in the USA. At TrueClaim, we set out to build a modern insurance platform to eliminate errors like this...and the rest is history.

Barbora Howell, MBA

CEO, co-founder

As employee #30 and Senior Director of Operations & Strategy at Hinge Health, Barbora launched and ran a number of functions including HR, Benefits and Billing. From there, she ran a 30-person Clinical Operations team at Pine Park Health. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and BSc in Economics from Wharton.

Bobby Bayer

CTO, co-founder

Bobby built and grew pMD's billing software and services, launching products that drove 30% of the company's growth, including a full-stack revenue cycle management platform and a suite of telemedicine tools used by healthcare providers and patients. Bobby holds a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Vijay Vignesh Venkataramani

Engineer

Having authored multiple publications in healthcare AI, Vijay commercialized his research as the founding ML engineer at Decorte Future Industries, helping secure the company’s first customers. Vijay holds and B.Tech and M.S. by Research in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad.

Elizabeth Gill

Operations Manager

Elizabeth Gill is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and retention of clients, primarily brokers and HR personnel of self-funded health plans. She holds a Life and Health Insurance License issued by the Ohio Department of Insurance and brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

John McCluskey

Advisor

John has designed, launched and operated several self-insured health plans and TPAs, most recently as Senior Director of TPA Operations at Flume Health (later sold to Vitori Health). John is currently the Head of Health Plan Operations at Vitable Health. At TrueClaim, John contributes to health plan operations and vendor relations.

Michael Perlmutter

Advisor

Michael is a seasoned benefits leader in the self-insured space, currently as Senior Director at WTW. Previously, Michael hand-picked innovative solutions for Lockton as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at their Insights & Innovation Lab. At TrueClaim, Michael supports product and commercial strategies.
